Reporting to the Managing Director you will lead the commercial, finance, HR and IT functions to help operationally drive the business forward. You will manage the financial and risk functions as well as supporting the business in evaluating, advising on, developing and executing new business opportunities. In addition, you will support the Managing Director and Board through robust commercial analysis and advice on operational and strategic performance.
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Management or Accounting. You will be comfortable and experienced in a manufacturing environment and be able to demonstrate the ‘hands on’ ability to build the finance function and develop robust systems and processes.
In addition, you will be able to analyse and communicate risk and opportunities allowing the business to make informed strategic and operational decisions. Strong management experience overseeing and supporting contracts with a customer focused approach are essential to this role along-with a passion to lead a small team.
