New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is New Zealand's international business development agency. New Zealand businesses are in demand and the team in London are looking for a Commercial Advisor help New Zealand businesses enter and thrive in the UK and Ireland markets.
Based in our central London office, you will proactively support New Zealand companies develop and execute their business growth plans, including identifying and providing strategic introductions, market analysis, and research. You will be involved in the identification of potential in-market partners, help develop new channels to market and identify potential growth opportunities.
A superb relationship manager and team player, you will also be part of a global organisation working with colleagues in Europe, New Zealand and our other international offices to achieve the New Zealand government's economic development goals.
The role offers exposure to a broad cross section and scale of business, so will suit an adaptable, fast moving generalist with a background in corporate development, business development, managing channel partner relationships, building capability, strategy and marketing. The ability to build and leverage relationships is central to the role, and you'll need to have existing relevant business networks in the UK.
Your enthusiastic, 'can-do' attitude, proactive nature, creative problem-solving skills and ability to work in virtual teams will be critical to your success.
