New Zealand Trade and Enterprise is New Zealand's international business development agency. Our purpose is to grow companies internationally - bigger, better, faster - for the benefit of New Zealand.

We are now seeking an experienced commercial strategist/business development advisor with strong connections in London and Ireland to work alongside our Trade Commissioner and established team of BDMs.  Our London office is busy and the opportunities to grow an existing portfolio further and make significant gains for your customers are strong.

What will you be doing?  You will contribute to the development of strategies and business models and ensure a thorough understanding of customer value propositions, business models, capabilities, and market need.  You will consult with your customers and develop market entry models and manage cross-border issues.

For this established portfolio we need an experienced credible candidate to hit the ground running, so current knowledge of the ICT sector, along with demonstrated ability to get cut through and make valuable connections to help grow your customers' businesses further is essential. An understanding of international business and global trends along with experience working in various offshore markets and alongside other businesses who have succeeded will be critical.  Proactivity and entrepreneurship, along with natural curiosity and excellent interpersonal skills will be important in this key position.
