The Greymouth Community Nursing Service has an exciting opportunity for a Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist to join their team.
This vital position will see you providing education and support to patients and their families throughout their journey to achieve and maintain maximum physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, vocational, cultural and social potentials. You will be an expert clinician with vast experience in palliative care enabling you to provide; consultative specialist palliative care, education and support to staff and patients with complex needs.
This community based position will also see you run clinics and work closely with speciality teams throughout the WCDHB, Nurse Maude hospice and community services. Strong leadership, excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to ensure effective liaison with the wider multidisciplinary team and patients are imperative to this role.
Post graduate qualifications or a commitment to the post graduate pathway and expert PDRP are essential to this role, in addition to being professionally intelligent, engaged and motivated to ensure the success of this new and exciting role.
