 The opportunity

This is a part-time opportunity (20-30 hours per week).  We are looking for someone who has a strong faith, is passionate about inspiring others people through worship and praise, and is capable of facilitating a team.

 The role involves:

·       Leading the Church in passionate praise and worship, using your musical and leadership skills

·       Organising, administering and developing the worshipping life of the Church

·       Ensuring worship rosters, sound and AV teams are co-ordinated

·       Leading the worship team by mentoring, training and facilitating the team

·       Liaising with other worship teams in the wider church community

What you’ll bring to the role

·       Excellent musical ability, a good singer and the ability to play guitar and/or piano

·       A good knowledge of HTB Alpha/Worship Central/Hillsong/Bethel worship style

·       A passion for the glory of God

·       Experience of leading and arranging bands, desire to mentor and train worship teams

·       Has a good working knowledge of live sound engineering

·       Extensive experience of leading worship

·       Effective team leadership skills

·       Some theological awareness

·       An ability to take initiative, plan ahead, set priorities and work to deadlines

·       A willingness to serve as part of the wider staff team

·       Reasonable IT skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

You must be able to work within the existing team to see the outworking of the vision of the church. Ideally you will have a proven track record of leading people and leading worship in a church.
