Outstanding opportunity: fixed term contract until 30 June 2019

The China Capable Public Sector (CCPS) programme is a strategic cross-agency capability development initiative led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.  CCPS has recently transitioned from a three-tranche programme phase to a long-term business model and governance structure.

This is a unique opportunity to join this progressive initiative where you will provide strategic delivery leadership and direction to CCPS in a new phase.

The CCPS Programme Director role is tasked with ensuring the CCPS programme continues to deliver on its strategic outcomes.  The key to success in this role is complementing your strategic thinking and sound business acumen with a tactical action style as the role requires the ability to influence diverse cross-sector stakeholders at a strategic level whilst engaging with the talent pipeline of China-savvy leaders, practitioners and talent at all levels.

You may come from a change management, capability development, or management background and be masterful at orchestrating end-to-end business strategy from business development, brand management, product design and account management through to the design and execution of collaborative forums and experiences that equip public servants with a cohesive set of China-related knowledge, expertise, and networks to make effective and efficient contributions to agency outcomes and government opportunities, as it relates to the CCPS programme purpose.

The role is offered as a fixed-term position which would be reviewed on an annual basis.  It offers an extraordinary developmental opportunity to drive system change at an all-of-government level.
