Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and preferably based at head office in Milton (possibility of being Christchurch based + travel) the Chief Information Officer (CIO) will lead a team of approx. 10 with responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the Calder Stewart Group’s IT Strategy, Processes and Systems (including MS Dynamics AX). Fostering innovation, the CIO will drive the implementation of integrated IS initiatives, utilising technology as an enabler in order to support the future growth of the Group.
Applicants will be tertiary qualified and possess at least 5 years’ experience managing/directing an IT operation or consulting in IT. Preferred candidates will be commercially focussed, service oriented and technologically savvy with a propensity for innovation and planning. Well-developed leadership, change and project management skills are essential and will have been gained through previous successful involvement with a significant enterprise wide ERP system replacement. A proven strategic focus is required in addition to a desire to role your sleeves up and get involved with all areas of the business to ensure effective operational delivery.
