Central Lakes Trust plays a pivotal role in producing sustainable outcomes that enrich lives, enhance assets and build resilient communities.  Formed in 2000, the Trust is committed to providing grants for eligible Central Otago based community projects and services.  During 2017, the Trust reached a milestone of having provided grants of over $85m to the community.  The Trust has a 100% shareholding in Pioneer Energy.

The Chief Executive will play a pivotal role in driving the Trust’s goal to grow its capital base to ensure funds are available in perpetuity for the benefit of future generations.  Providing motivational leadership to a small team, the Chief Executive will represent and promote the Trust’s activities, and oversee the organisation’s investments and grants programme.

A passion for community participation and proven ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders is essential.  Applicants will display a vibrant and engaging personality, combined with a modern leadership approach.  Management experience within a commercial or community focused setting is critical.
