Part of the Alpine Energy Group, NETcon Ltd is an electrical contracting company with a primary focus on the installation and maintenance of aerial and underground power distribution systems from 400V to 33kV. Based in Timaru with a staff of around 100, NETcon offers a comprehensive, construction, and maintenance service, and provides a 24/7 faults service to its clients to maintain electricity supply to >43,000 customers. NETcon is the preferred supplier for Alpine Energy and its clients vary from public service utilities to large corporates, local Councils and individual land owners.
This role offers both challenge and great opportunity with the chance to shape an organisation as it redefines itself for the future. Reporting to a new Board, the CEO will provide dedicated and motivational leadership to a team of approximately 100 staff, successfully implementing and embedding organisational transformation projects, developing a culture of accountability and enhancing NETcon’s performance. The CEO will focus on ensuring a commercial approach to the business, place great emphasis on organisational Health & Safety and maintain NETcon’s strong reputation for service delivery.
The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified, with prior CEO/GM or senior executive level experience ideally gained within a contracting/maintenance or infrastructure management related background. Highly commercial, the CEO will possess exceptional leadership, communication and relationship management skills along with the ability to lead change, drive growth and embed a strong Health & Safety and values driven culture.
This represents a great leadership opportunity in an evolving organisation well-supported by its Board and parent organisation, providing a wide variety of contracting services to the Electricity sector.
