Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive is responsible for providing the vision and strategic leadership of the company to ensure the continued achievement of agreed profit and growth targets. Providing a modern commercial leadership approach, the CEO will maintain effective relationships with suppliers and international customers whilst ensuring all aspects of the processing operations are efficient, innovative and consistently processing product to high standards The development of people capability, a performance culture and process innovation are all critical components to the CEO’s leadership role.
Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
· Senior management experience and credibility within the tannery industry.
· A capable builder and manager of commercial relationships.
· The ability to develop and maintain an effective customer-centric culture.
· Credible understanding of the critical variables of the business model.
· An appreciation for stable private shareholder ownership.
· Knowledge of international marketing would be desirable.
