New Zealand Rugby (NZR) is one of New Zealand's largest sporting organisations that supports, grows and promotes New Zealand's game.

With direct relationships with its members, including the All Blacks and all 26 Provincial Unions, Investec Super Rugby teams, sponsors and stakeholders, NZR is committed to New Zealand rugby being financially secure and contributing actively to the global game.

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) 

NZR seeks to appoint a strategic and innovative CCO to work collaboratively with the Chief Executive Officer, Board and senior management to lead and drive traditional and emerging revenues both domestically and internationally. In addition, the CCO is responsible for attracting and managing relationships with commercial partners as well as broadcast and content partnerships.

The Person

The ideal candidate will be proven in highly commercial environments with a record of success operating across international markets and cultures. Proactive and an energetic high achiever, the CCO will be team and relationship orientated. S/he must be highly driven with a track record of sustainable business development, revenue, sponsorship and brand growth with over 10+ years in senior management and leadership roles. Contract negotiation and leadership through influence are also critically important to success.

Candidates must have an empathy toward New Zealand rugby and/or major sports. In addition, candidates must also be able to demonstrate a level of connectivity to New Zealand.
