New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is New Zealand's international business development agency. We work with some of New Zealand's most forward thinking companies, helping them grow internationally, through the development and execution of their strategic growth plans.
We are looking for a smart, hard-working, collaborative individual to work with New Zealand companies seeking to enter and navigate the US healthcare marketplace at both a government, public and private sector level. This exciting role includes working with entrepreneurial New Zealand companies to develop and execute their ambitious growth plans in the US. You will play a key role in evaluating the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities of our customers in comparison to their competitors and support them with their market entry, market capability, and growth strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of the US healthcare industry's purchasing and procurement structure and processes; hands on business development experience; and strong knowledge of the key challenges and opportunities for foreign companies wanting to do business in the US. You will be confident in building and leveraging business networks and be able to think strategically and execute tactically. A willingness to "roll your sleeves up" will be a crucial factor in being able to get alongside our companies and contribute to their success.
In return, you'll be rewarded with the opportunity to have real impact on businesses, work with a small, energetic and passionate team, undertake varied and interesting work and have a high degree of independence. As a member of an Embassy team the role enables access to a high calibre network of contacts and the ability to work creatively as part of a global organization with over 40 offices around the world.
You must be a US Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident or Green Card holder to apply for this role. Salary and benefits are commensurate with this exciting position.
