The Role

Due to expanding projects, they are seeking a modern thinking Business Development Manager to assist with the continuing development and growth of the New Zealand business. Your role will be to lead and drive sales, implement sales strategy and develop marketing programmes for customers. You will be responsible for maintaining solid relationships with architects, specifiers, wholesalers and engineers and oversee new product development. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to support with strategy and marketing initiatives, and contribute to the future direction of the company.


Skills and Experience

Experience in a fast growing sales or wholesale business would be preferred, yet more important will be your outstanding ability to think outside the box and lead a team. Excellent communication skills and proven ability to build strong commercial relationships will be essential. To be successful you will have a desire to help customers grow their businesses, a penchant for innovation, and an affinity for a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment. Exposure to electrical lighting or a related industry would be advantageous.
