Responsibilities include creating a black box for a special part of the plant which the control point will be part of the intellectual property for the company. There is significant development with a super focus on automation and instrumentation in an inorganic lab. From setting up all the lab equipment through to automation it is an exciting time to join the company. Continuous improvement and maintenance are integral to the role as is understanding test data and reporting of results across the business.
Completing an electronics qualification, with a good mechanical aptitude, relevant experience may have been as an electronics technician in an engineering lab environment. Applicable is work in a chemical lab and experience in control systems. The position will use your ability in design and build electro-mechanical prototypes and test fixtures, and involve organising, procuring and managing materials for projects. This role will appeal to a creative, innovative individual with a strong interest in automation, robotics and drone technology.
