 Associate Director – Senior Credit Analyst 

Senior credit analysis and research role with our Institutional business 

Full time, Permanent Role

Based in Britomart, Auckland

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Analyst who will assist Relationship Managers in forming deep relationships with our corporate customers by being the subject matter expert on credit matters and providing industry insights. This role will report into the Portfolio Manager and will be involved in providing effective deal support through accurate and thorough research and analysis as well as protecting Westpac Institutional Banks assets through sound credit management practices. Your strong advocacy skills and proven ability to influence key decision makers through your demonstrated understanding of both deal specific and industry risks will be a critical part to the portfolios performance

What you’ll need to succeed:

Degree in Finance, Banking or Business (Economics or Accounting Major preferred)Proven experience in a senior analyst role or similarAdvantageous if you have had experience in an Infrastructure, Utilities or Telecommunications portfolio previouslyExceptional verbal and written communication skillsExcellent relationship management and engagement skillsHave the right attitude, determination and hunger to succeed!This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented analyst who has a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail and commercially and strategically savvy to build their brand within a high performing team!
