Huka Lodge was named #1 Australia/New Zealand Resort Hotel in the Travel + Leisure 2018 World’s Best Awards U.S, and an opportunity has arisen for a superstar Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team and assist in the running of our restaurant operations.
This is a challenging and dynamic role, with 21 unique dining locations to choose from, dinner service is the event of the day at the lodge but breakfast and lunch organisation are also crucial aspects of the position:
You will need to have the following to be considered for this position:
- Experience in a five star dining establishment of a similar level to Huka Lodge (4+ years)
- Ability to order stock and supplies and control inventory.
- To effectively manage and motivate a small and dedicated team.
- To manage a very busy restaurant environment calmly and with control.
You will need to be able to live and work in Taupo to be considered for this roll, this is a permanent and full time position that would not suit a candidate on a working holiday visa.
