About us
Mainland Capital is a private equity fund manager focused solely on the New Zealand commercial property market. Mainland is licenced by the Financial Markets Authority and manages a portfolio of private client, wholesale and retail property funds across New Zealand. Mainland is expanding its asset management capabilities by creating a new Asset Manager role for its funds management business. The Asset Manager will be responsible for the property assets under management reporting directly to the Fund Manager on all asset/property and project management aspects of the portfolio as well as assisting on new acquisitions.
Qualifications & experience
- A minimum 5 years commercial property experience with knowledge of managing commercial property and/or construction projects.
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
Tasks & responsibilities
- A sound understanding of commercial property as an investment asset class along with strong financial and analytical skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem solving skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Highly customer focused with the ability to build strong relationships.
