Purest Tea in the World Lands in UK
It’s coming ... the purest tea on the planet is about to hit the UK. While other teas may claim purity, Zealong Tea, produced at the Zealong Tea Estate in New Zealand, has the accolades to prove it.
Available for sampling at the Natural & Organic Products Europe Trade Only Expo in London on April 17 and 18, Zealong is the only tea in the world that is fully traceable from soil to first sip, achieving ISO 22000 certification, meeting the highest food safety standards in the world.
Zealong Tea has already been recognised in Asia for its purity, having won ‘Best New Natural/Organic Beverage’ at last year’s Natural & Organic Products Asia Expo in Hong Kong. Supped by royals and savoured in the form of chocolate by celebrity chef Nigella Lawson, Zealong has not yet been officially launched in the UK but, for dedicated tea enthusiasts seeking the best, it can currently be found on the shelves at Harrods.
Zealong Tea was enjoyed by His Royal Highness Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall when they visited New Zealand last year. It has also been sampled by Nigella Lawson, who was the poster girl for a new range of artisan chocolates, including a Zealong Tea-infused dark chocolate, by New Zealand chocolate manufacturer Whittaker’s.
Zealong Tea Estate General Manager Gigi Crawford says the London expo is a chance for Britain, a nation of tea-lovers, to sample the purest tea in the world.
“As a company we are proud of what we have achieved in not only creating great tasting teas, but products that have very distinctive health benefits due to the regime we adopted in terms of standards and quality,” says Ms Crawford.
Zealong will be showcasing all of its teas – in five flavour profiles - at the London expo, which is Europe’s biggest showcase of natural, organic, fair-trade, free-from and eco-friendly products.
