Come celebrate Waitangi Day (New Zealand’s National Day) in Singapore with Kiwis and friends.
Waitangi Day celebrates the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi in 1840. It was a treaty between Maori chiefs and the British crown. While there have been disagreements over the exact meaning of the Treaty at times, the date of 6 February 1840 is a time for all New Zealanders to celebrate their amazing country.
Free activities include the Lolly scramble, musical chairs, live band, bouncy castle, face painting, candy floss, balloon sculpting, free popcorn and ice-cream and more!
An afternoon of fun, good food and relaxation guaranteed. Mark it in your diaries.
Peruse the market stall holders and take home a few goodies as well. We’ll be featuring some unique New Zealand goods that are not otherwise available in Singapore!
