Waitangi Day Dinner

The New Zealand Ireland Association will host the annual Waitangi Dinner at 19.00PM on Saturday, 7 February 2015 – and you are invited to join us! In order to enable as many people as possible to come along, we are trying to keep prices low and will have a lovely meal in one of Dublin’s traditional Victorian pubs, Nancy Hands (30-32 Parkgate Street, Dublin 8), which is just a short stroll from Heuston Station. Featuring strong New Zealand influences, the menu will consist of finger food, followed by a choice of main course and desert. We will be trialling a new approach to entertainment at the event. Rather than hearing from a single after-dinner speaker, we will host a ‘fireside chat’ (informal interview) with three interesting and inspiring people with a kiwi connection, to learn more about their personal stories. We have chosen a broad mix of fascinating panellists - it is safe to say there is something for everyone! So without further ado, here is the fireside chat line-up! MC - Entertainer Danny Dowling Rugby International - Tania Rosser Father and Fundraiser - Peter Herangi Director of the Hunt Museum - Dr. Hugh Maguire
