Join Professor Nic Smith as he launches into a discussion about how engineering and technology are changing lives faster than ever before. He will explain why the sky isn’t the limit – but is where we should be focusing our resources.

Nic will illustrate what the Faculty of Engineering is working on to continue the country’s pioneering spirit, and why it is crucial to build an economy focused on technology.Nic is a Professor and Dean of Engineering at the University of Auckland. Before he held this role, he was the Professor of Computational Physiology at the University of Oxford and Head of Biomedical Engineering at King’s College London. He is a fellow of the New Zealand Royal Society and Engineering New Zealand.

This will be a wonderful way to build your constellation of networks and catch up with fellow alumni.
