Join Professor Nic Smith as he launches into a discussion about how engineering and technology are changing lives faster than ever before. He will explain why the sky isn’t the limit – but is where we should be focusing our resources.
Nic will illustrate what the Faculty of Engineering is working on to continue the country’s pioneering spirit, and why it is crucial to build an economy focused on technology.
Nic Smith is a Professor and Dean of Engineering at the University of Auckland. Before he held this role, he was the Professor of Computational Physiology at the University of Oxford and Head of Biomedical Engineering at King’s College London.
This will be a wonderful way to build your constellation of networks and catch up with fellow alumni.

Dress Code: Men should dress in a jacket (suit, blazer or sports jacket), and fully button-fronted collared shirt tucked in with tailored trousers, corduroys, chinos or moleskins (no tie required). Women should wear smart attire (dress, tailored trousers or skirt with a smart top or shirt), business attire or other dress of appropriate formality).

- Strapless, transparent and very low cut tops/shirts/blouses except for formal evening wear
