As part of The Hospital Club’s The Bigger Picture series* we get the chance to sit with Karma Cola, a sustainable producer who aim to give back to the people who discovered the cola nut.
Doors for 2.45pm for 3.15pm start
There are 1.8 billion Coca-Cola branded drinks consumed globally every day. However, the cruel irony is that communities who discovered cola in West Africa have never benefitted from an ingredient that gave the world’s most popular soft drink its name This injustice didn’t sit right with the Karma Cola founders, so they set out to create a drink everybody could enjoy: from the consumers all the way back to the farmers producing the ingredients. Named the World’s Fairest Trader, come and hear how Karma Cola is attempting to disrupt the soft drinks industry by showing that doing business the right way, is the only way to do business right.
