The Australia and New Zealand Festival of Literature and Arts
Seriously good literature, film, music and performance from two countries at the (cutting) edge of the world.
Aussies and Kiwis are a globe-trotting bunch, so where better to take a fresh look at what it means to be Antipodean than one of the most global, buzzing cities in the world: London.
The 2014 Festival was a chance for audiences to be immersed in more than 60 events with 130 writers, musicians, actors, opinion-makers and rising stars – not only from Australia & New Zealand, but all over Britain and beyond.
That was just the start of this great adventure. We’ve programmed a bigger and better festival for 2015, with the main programme taking place from 28 – 31 May, plus several special events leading up to it beginning 17 May. Whatever preconceptions you may have about these two nations, this is the place where they’ll be challenged, reinvented and turned upside down.
Our goal is to work with our growing community and audiences to create a year-round arts network that supports talent and generates exciting events, new ideas and irresistible opportunities both in London and across the UK.
Organisers are offering all Kea members a discount to "Bring a Brit" - 50% off two tickets for any Festival event (excluding workshops) when you bring a Brit to a weekend festival event. Enter the code BRIT when ordering your tickets.
The Festival are also currently looking for volunteers – a great opportunity for those passionate about NZ/AUS and literature and the arts to help out and also gain access to the festival: http://ausnzfestival.com/festival-volunteering-opportunities
