Please be welcome to join the New Zealand Universities Graduate Association for an evening of socialising and an informal buffet supper, followed by an address from our speaker for the night.
The event is open to all; members, non-members and non-graduates are all equally welcome.
Our speaker: David Evans, who has just taken up his new posting as New Zealand Deputy High Commissioner to the UK will talk about "China: trends/directions"
Prior to taking up his new role as NZ Deputy High Commissioner to the UK, David spent a number of years working in China most recently as Deputy Head of Mission at the New Zealand Embassy in Beijing. David will offer his personal reflections on his time in China, and some the trends and directions, at a time when trade and cultural contacts between China and NZ have never been more significant.
