The New Zealand Studies Network (NZSN) is delighted to welcome The Honourable Justice Joseph Williams as our guest speaker following the conclusion of our AGM on 05 September 2016.
The Honourable Justice Williams was appointed Judge of the High Court in 2008. He graduated from Victoria University with an LLB and from the University of British Columbia, Canada, with an LLM (Hons). After that he worked in practice before being appointed Chief Judge of the Māori Land Court in December 1999. He was appointed deputy chairperson of the Waitangi Tribunal and appointed the chairperson of the Waitangi Tribunal in 2004.
We are fortunate to have Justice Williams as our guest speaker and it will be a unique opportunity to hear him talk about his journey and experience as a High Court Judge.
