As part of our on-going development for industry based networking groups for the Health and Wellbeing sector, we are pleased to host Dr Bev Lawton at the Modern Pantry.
Dr Bev Lawton is an Associate Professor and Director of NZ Women’s Health Research Centre who are concerned with the health of NZ women particularly during pregnancy and birth. The research centre is dedicated to improving the health outcomes of our nation’s women and children through life saving research and initiatives.
The goal of the centre is that no mother or child should suffer avoidable harm or death – ZERO preventable harm. Their work to date has shown that up to 40% of cases of severe harm in pregnancy are preventable with clinical error being the major cause.
This is a fantastic opportunity to listen and engage with a visiting academic who is keen to engage and share with women in our network. Please do share the below details with other kiwi women who you think might be interested.
The evening will consist of a welcome drink, delicious shared meal at a Kiwi venue, the opportunity to listen connect and discuss your industry with like-minded women.
