Now is a great time to be an engineer in New Zealand
There’s never been a better time to be an engineer in New Zealand. The local economy is booming, employment confidence is at a high, and engineering is playing a key role thanks to major infrastructure projects all over the country – especially with the $40 billion Christchurch rebuild.
Beca is one of the largest engineering companies in the Asia-Pacific region, and they’re currently recruiting for New Zealand based roles with global opportunities. To give a better idea of the engineering scene back home, Beca’s Business Director for South Island Infrastructure Richard Holyoake will be at New Zealand House in London on the 31st of July to speak about upcoming projects, job openings, and what Beca has to offer.
Having worked at Beca since he graduated, Richard has enjoyed a varied career path, and is now applying his knowledge of the business and Beca’s clients in a combined strategic, project delivery, business development and client relationship overview role.
If you’re an engineer and you’re considering moving back home, this could be your ticket.
