Almost 30 Kiwi AgTech businesses are traveling to San Francisco to take part in a three-day Silicon Valley AgTech immersion Program from Monday 18 – Wednesday 20 April. Then follows the one-day SVForum AgTech Conference, where on Thursday 21 April, leading New Zealand AgTech innovators and thought leaders will headline the day’s agenda – ‘How Digital is Transforming AgTech’.
Sponsored by Callaghan Innovation and organised in association with SVForum, New Zealand Trade & Enterprise and Wharf42, the Conference will be held at GSVLabs in Redwood City. It will feature panel discussions and New Zealand case studies around some of the key drivers of this digital transformation: Robotics, sensors, UAVs, big data and their application to the agriculture sector.
The Conference will be attended by key executives from leading US food producers, innovators, startups and investors; all keen to learn just how New Zealand is leading the world in many of these fields.
The inbound New Zealand delegation would be delighted to meet Kiwis living and working in the Bay area who have an interest in this space. It is our hope that we not only meet and engage with the Bay’s rapidly growing AgTech ecosystem, but also have the opportunity to share some of our thoughts and insights with KEA members interested in the digital space.
You can register for the one-day SVForum AgTech Conference on the Eventbrite page: http://svforum.org/Education-Tech-Conference/Transforming-AgTech-Conference-Digital-Technology-Agriculture

The delegation really does look forward to meeting you in the Bay next month.
