Kea Inspire with former All Black Bryan ‘Beegee’ Williams (SOLD OUT)
Join Kea New Zealand for an Inspire Event with former All Black Bryan ‘Beegee’ Williams, Ali Williams and Nick Evans, hosted by BBC presenter David Eades. In anticipation of New Zealand hosting the World Masters Games in 2017, which will involve 25,000 athletes from over 100 different countries (that’s more than what compete in the summer Olympics), and as the All Blacks strive to retain the Webb Ellis Cup, we'll discuss New Zealand: A Love of Sport.
Bryan Williams was thrust into the international spotlight as a 19 year old try-scoring phenomenon on the All Black tour to South Africa in 1970. As ambassador for World Masters Games 2017, Bryan will spread the word on the biggest sporting event New Zealand will experience in at least the next decade, the largest since the very successful hosting of the 2011 Rugby World Cup, and share stories from his career and life involvement in the world of sport.
Ali Williams was a driving force during his time in Super Rugby with the Blues in 2003, the Crusaders in 2008 and a 2011 World Cup win with the All Blacks, Ali recently finished his time at French giants Toulon, walking away with winners medals from the 2014 French Top 14 and European Cup.
Harlequins half-back Nick Evans has had close to 200 appearances since joining in 2008 from The Blues in Auckland. Beginning his career at Otago as a full-back, he quickly developed into a ruthless fly-half. Nick made his All Black debut in 2004 against England and went on to make 16 appearances, scoring 103 points.
