Geoff is the Director of The Business Bakery. The Bakery takes an active and majority position in expansion stage companies in New Zealand, providing funds and capital. They have four key investments: The Hyperfactory, The Foundry Asset Management, Ecoya, and a project still in development.
Geoff is also the Chief Executive of Moa Brewing and the Group Chairman of the Trilogy Group. Geoff is one of NZ’s most successful entrepreneurs. He won the WCNZ Award in the Manufacturing, Design and Innovation category in 2007.
Geoff Ross was the founder of 42 Below Limited which was a listed company for three years prior to its sale to Bacardi for $138 million in late 2006. After exiting 42 Below, he started The Business Bakery with former 42 Below co-founders, Grant Baker and Stephen Sinclair (which has interests in fragrance and bodycare company Ecoya Ltd, Moa Beer and Dorchester).
Prior to 42 Below, Geoff was a Managing Partner and Board Member of DDB Advertising and a Client Service Director and Management Team Member for Saatchi & Saatchi in Wellington. Geoff is also a trustee of the Melanoma Foundation and advisor to Air New Zealand's "Grab a Seat" initiative. He believes that business success comes from putting your all into a project.
