What would Kate Sheppard think of the world we inhabit today?
Kea New Zealand and New Zealand Business Women's Network invite you to join us in celebrating International Women's Day 2018 with a wonderful panel discussion and network event in The Penthouse of New Zealand House.
During the 1980s in New Zealand, young girls were encouraged by a campaign that "Girls Can Do Anything", and with the UK commemorations of the Centenary of Female Suffrage in mind, we ask our panellists and guests to reflect on their careers and life journeys through the question of "Can we do anything?"
A panel of inspiring and remarkable women, our 2018 guest speakers are Whaea Esther Kerr Jessop (Founder Member of Ngāti Rānana, London Māori Club), Lucy Hockings (News Presenter/Anchor at BBC World News), Jackie Smith (Founder and Director, FAB Group and Caci clinics NZ) and Zoe Rutherford (Managing Director at The London Cheerleaders and Fan Xperience Inc & Energise Education);
Our panel will share with us their dreams as Kiwi Kids, where their career and life journey has taken them. It will be a time to reflect on our own paths and ask ourselves, can girls do anything? Another amazing lineup for this, the fourth IWD collaboration between NZBWN and Kea.
£20 plus ticketing fee, includes wine, canapés, great conversation and networking opportunities.
