In Conversation: Entrepreneurs Event in Wellington
Welcome to our "In Conversation" series where we gather entrepreneurs, start-ups and business together in a location to talk all things entrepreneurship. Our next gathering will be in the best little capital city in the world, Wellington New Zealand and will be styled as a networking event with a great panel of entrepreneurs, business and political leaders who will be in conversation with each-other and the audience when it comes to barriers and opportunities around business success, the market, capital raising, gaining customers, social media engagement, export markets and the economy. In fact, nothing will be off the agenda!
There will be the ability for three New Zealand start-ups to make a 3 minute pitch to the gathered crowd and of course, networking with each other and the speakers. Our speaker line up includes EntreHub Co-founder Matthew Tukaki who has spent the last nearly 15 years building start-ups right through to running a multi-billion dollar corporation. Matthew left New Zealand in 2000 and spent three years representing Australian business at the United Nations Global Compact and now Chairs Social Investment company Sustain Group, Deakin Universities CSaRO Research Institute and global news network for entrepreneurs and business start-ups, EntreHub.org. Matthew will be joined by newly appointed Minister for Maori Development, Te Ururoa Flavell (tbc) and EcoStore founder & entrepreneur, Malcolm Rands. We would very much like to thank Grow Wellington and Kea New Zealand for their support in getting this event off the ground!
