Booty shaking soul monster Fat Freddy’s Drop is heading to Manchester’s Victoria before a return to London’s Alexandra Palace in London for one night only next June.
The People’s Palace was the scene of a triumphant sold out headline concert to 10,000 rapturous fans in 2014 and now the high flying voodoo sound from the Kiwi sound machine is ready for round two. Making the most of the UK visit, Freddys will also perform in Manchester, their first show in the northwest city since their 2013 Blackbird Tour.
Along with releasing BAYS album in late 2015, Freddys has continued to whip audiences into a frenzy at the likes of Boomtown Fair earlier this year, a sold out double header at O2 Academy Brixton, making annual pilgrimages across Europe, Australia and the home country for headline and festival shows. More recently Freddys have struck out to new territory making their South Africa debut in Cape Town and Johannesburg and next up is a Hong Kong debut this November at Clockenflap Festival.
Now regarded as one of the world’s finest live draws, genre defying Freddys have remained true to their mantra that no two show are ever the same.
