You are cordially invited to support the Laurel Doody project by purchasing a one-off ceramic plate made by Los Angeles based New Zealand artist Fiona Connor. This will enable you to join an exclusive dinner at Lisa Cooley gallery in the Lower East Side, New York, taking place on Sunday, June 26th.
Laurel Doody (www.laureldoody.com) is a non-profit gallery that supports New Zealand and international artists with financial assistance and visibility to an international audience in Los Angeles. Past exhibitions have included New Zealand artists Kate Newby, Nick Austin and Daniel Malone.
The dinner will take place amongst Fiona Connor's exhibition at Lisa Cooley gallery, New York with music by artist Steve Kado, New Zealand food and wine put together by Jo Connor and a table piece by New Zealand artist Kate Newby, creating a new environment and experience.
Pre-dinner drinks at 6pm will be hosted by Helen Andrews of Art+Culture Projects in Chelsea, and you will be transported a short distance to the dinner venue.
Plates are $500 and there are only 20 available. You can secure your place at the dinner and view your choice of plate by contacting Helen Andrews firstname.lastname@example.org
