“Conquering the Mountain” brought to you by Australian International School
Grant ‘Axe’ Rawlinson is an inspiring Kiwi mountaineer and adventurer. Grant’s major passion in life is taking on extreme challenges. From scaling virgin mountain peaks in Kyrgystan, remote winter mountaineering expeditions to Pakistan, to climbing the treacherous North Ridge of Mt Everest. He has sea-kayaked across New Zealand’s Cook Strait, played international seven aside rugby, fought in the boxing ring and run marathons. Grant will be sharing the motivations that drive individuals and teams along journeys of transition and change and the importance of following your passions in both the corporate world and personal life. Grant delivers highly entertaining, thought provoking and inspirational keynote addresses and his presentations have been described as ‘life changing’.
“Conquering the Mountain”
A 60 minute presentation that brings you along Grant’s personal journey of transition from a sportsman and high altitude mountaineer to extreme adventurer and professional speaker. Grant’s talk is designed to inspire audiences to reflect on their own lives. To encourage them to take on challenge and risk, to show them how to achieve great goals with limited resources and to inspire positive change through following their true passions in life.
“Conquering the Mountain” is specially suitable for those looking for inspiration and motivation in life to make positive changes, to take on new challenges or be reminded that we need to step outside our comfort zone in order to achieve.
What people who have heard Grant speak have to say:
"What a fantastic mix of side-splitting humour, engaging storytelling, compelling message, a-ha moments and absorbing audio visuals. You are a natural and ever so comfortable on stage and your personality just shone through. What a way to end my day!"
