Slip on your boots and get ready for a shin-dig at the biggest gala event of 2015! Tickets are on sale now, so get in early to reserve your table.
Channeling the spirit of the country, the Australia and New Zealand Country Ball is a celebration of a rural life and its unique culture and lifestyle.
The 2015 Ball theme is the ‘Bush’ and building on the huge success of the 2014 Silver Ball in conjunction with the New Zealand community, the Chamber looks forward to our largest and most successful Ball yet!
Expect a night filled with five-star ‘Bush Tucker’ carefully selected by the Kempinski’s head-chef. Guests will be treated to a four-course meal, Midnight Snack and, for those who make it, an early morning Recovery Breakfast. Furthermore, there will be free-flowing top-quality wines, spirits and beers throughout the night.
Bush Dances (aka square dancing) will be called by local country legends, The Hutong Yellow Weasels, and guests will be sure to hit the dance floor to starlet Nancy J Brown and her band’s uplifting sound.
As with most B&S Balls, this is a great opportunity to meet new people or catch up with old mates. Hosting attendees from the Australian and New Zealand business and government communities also makes our Ball a unique way to thank old clients, and make meaningful connections.
Please email us to express your interest in individual tickets or full table purchases. Tickets can additionally be purchased and paid online using Yoopay. Jackaroos and Jillaroos.
The dress code for this Country Ball is Black Tie…of a sort. While the gentlemen will be expected to attend wearing black pants, a shirt and a tie, it’s perfectly acceptable to wear boots and a jacket (optional). Ladies may attend in a dress or a skirt with boots as well. Oh, and don’t forget the Akubra!
