This year’s Aviation Conference Week, organised by industry association Aviation New Zealand, will be held from 25 to 29 June, in Wellington.

29 June Leadership Summit (ends lunchtime), NZHA, Supply Services and Engineering, Training & Development, and UAVNZ Conferences, trade show
The Leadership Summit on 28 and 29 June is themed 'Meeting tomorrow's challenges and succeeding today'. There will be a mix of government and non-government speakers.Summit speakers already confirmed include the Minister of Transport (Hon Simon Bridges), Secretary of Transport (Martin Matthews), Chairman of CAA (Nigel Gould), Director of CAA (Graeme Harris), and Chief Executive of Business New Zealand (Kirk Hope).
Aviation operational safety and human error specialist from Britain,Dr Steve Jarvis from Jarvis Bagshaw will speak to the Wednesday plenary. Steve specialises in the real-world application of human science to aviation. He has designed and delivered training courses for aviation authorities, airlines and air forces around the World.
The other divisions of Aviation NZ (NZ Agricultural Aviation Assn, NZ Helicopter Assn, Supply Services & Engineering, Training and Development, and UAVNZ will also be holding conferences. Their agenda items cover more micro issues - risk, compliance, fatigue, human performance, safety, financial performance and best practice.
The Gala Dinner on the Tuesday evening gives the industry an opportunity to recognise some of its outstanding achievers – companies and individuals.
The trade display from 27 to 29 June will have up to 26 exhibitors, from New Zealand, Australia, Canada and possibly the United States.
