Continuing with the successful ASEAN Leadership Series in conjunction New Zealand Trade & Enterprise we proudly present The Digital Tsunami.
Roger Sharp has more than 30 years’ hands-on experience investing in, financing and advising growth companies.
He is Executive Chairman of Asia Pacific Digital Limited, an ASX-listed digital services company that is growing fast through Asia from its headquarters in Singapore. Roger is also a Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed Webjet, one of the region’s leading online travel agencies, and of several private technology companies.
Prior to becoming a full-time technology investor in 2001, Roger held the positions of Global Head of Technology for ABN AMRO Bank in London and CEO of ABN AMRO Asia Securities in Hong Kong. Roger started his career in the 80s by jointly setting up, building and selling Datacorp, an Auckland-based database company.
Roger is an active writer and speaker on the subject of digital disruption. He is currently on a speaking tour of the region and recently opened the Hong Kong Government’s Digital Entrepreneur Leadership Forum as well as the 2015 New Zealand CEO Summit.
The key theme from Roger’s tour is that today businesses of all sizes are being disrupted, whether they know it or not, by the “digital tsunami” sweeping over global commerce. He believes there is no middle ground for today’s captains of industry and that they must either disrupt others, or themselves face being disrupted.
This informative session will include a Q&A session with Roger Sharp and Tony Robinson, New Zealand Trade Commissioner for Singapore.
Limited seats, strictly by RSPV.
