Artificial Intelligence Summit - Trust, Privacy, Ethics

The adoption of Artificial Intelligence for organisations is becoming essential. According to IDG, a global market intelligence leader, "By 2019, 40% of digital transformation initiatives will be supported by Cognitive/Al capabilities, providing critical on-time insights for new operating and monetization models."

Along with great promises, however, AI brings issues in certain areas such as:

  • Ethics - AI will pose ethical issues with high impact. For example, AI systems have mislabeled black people as “gorillas” or charged Asian Americans higher prices for SAT tutoring.
  • Trust - Would you put your 2-month old baby in a fully autonomous car, driven by AI?
  • Privacy – For example, AI makes it possible to determine the TV channel you’re watching by looking at your power consumption.

This event is focused on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on business and society. It is designed to help C-level executives, Board Directors and business professionals learn what AI can bring to their company and how to deal address the associated challenges.

As part of the program, we are pleased to announce Ms Kay Firth-Butterfield, Head of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the World Economic Forum as a keynote as well as a number of other high profile speakers.
