An Evening with Sean Fitzpatrick and Nick Evans

JOIN FORMER ALL BLACKS NICK EVANS AND SEAN FITZPATRICK FOR AN EXCLUSIVE EVENING AT THE ALEXANDRA PUB, CLAPHAM COMMON, ON TUESDAY 25TH OCTOBER AS THEY LOOK AHEAD TO THE CLUB’S 150TH ANNIVERSARY MATCH AGAINST THE MAORI ALL BLACKS.

The event, which is free to attend, sees the illustrious pair discuss the pride of representing New Zealand, the Maori culture and heritage, what to expect as this prestigious team faces Harlequins at The Stoop, and the current rugby affairs.

The event is free to attend and places are offered on a  first come first serve basis on the evening. To enable the Club to have an idea of numbers, you can register your interest to the event via Facebook by clicking here. Registration will not guarantee your entry to the event.

Starting from 19:00, a question and answer session will occur before the floor is open to questions from the audience. Once the formalities have finished, the pair will be available to sign memorabilia and take photos.

The evening with Nick Evans and Sean Fitzpatrick has been organised ahead of Harlequins’ challenge match with the Maori All Blacks at The Stoop on Wednesday 16th November, kick-off 19:45.

The match will conclude the Maori All Blacks’ northern hemisphere tour which will see them play the USA Eagles in Chicago’s Toyota Park, Munster at Thomond Park and Harlequins.

A famous and historic team, the Maori’s represent the proud culture of New Zealand and were the first to wear the famous black jersey. All players must have Maori whakapapa (genealogy) to be able to represent the side.

Founded in 1888 they have conquered many international teams including the British and Irish Lions, England and Ireland. The Maoris last met Harlequins at Twickenham Stadium in 1926, on that day Harlequins emerged 5-11 victors.

Many notable All Blacks have represented the Maori All Blacks including Carlos Spencer, Piri Weepu, Aaron Smith, Bruce Reihana, Zac Guildford, Carl Hayman, Luke McAlister, Liam Messam, Hosea Gear and former Harlequin Zinzan Brooke.
