New Zealand High Commission Apia, Samoa
The New Zealand High Commission in Apia is the New Zealand Government office in Samoa. It works with the Samoan government and its agencies to pursue issues of interest to New Zealand and issues of interest to both governments in the wider regional and global environment. These can be political, economic, national, regional or global issues. The High Commission manages New Zealand’s development assistance programme for Samoa and is the base for the New Zealand Police Liaison officer for the South and South West Pacific. The High Commission provides consular services to resident and visiting New Zealanders, including emergency advice and assistance in the case of arrests, hospitalisation, passport issues etc. See the High Commission services for New Zealanders section for more information. The High Commission is also accredited to American Samoa. Immigration and visas to New Zealand are handled by Immigration New Zealand Apia Office hours: Mon-Fri 0830-1630 hrs
