New Zealand Consulate-General Hong Kong
New Zealand has had resident representation in Hong Kong since 1960. The Consulate-General and other New Zealand agencies currently have a total staff of approximately 40, carrying out the business in Hong Kong of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Immigration New Zealand, Investment New Zealand, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and Tourism New Zealand. The Consulate-General staff further includes representatives of Police and Customs, accredited on a non-resident basis from Beijing. New Zealand and China in early 1997 concluded an exchange of letters confirming the maintenance of the New Zealand Consulate-General after Hong Kong's reversion to Chinese sovereignty. The Consul-General also continued to be accredited to Macao after it became a SAR at the end of 1999. Office hours: Mon-Fri 0830-1300, 1400-1700 hrs
