FreeANZAC Day 2024
This special day will begin at the Commonwealth War Graves in Prague 3 at 11.30am and will include Australian, New Zealand and Czech representatives and official wreath laying ceremony. When the ceremony concludes at midday, we invite you to make your way to our NEW island venue: Areál Císařská louka – CINDA.
CANZA has secured exclusive use of this island venue that has an on-site restaurant which serves tasty food as well as beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks. The CANZA team have also lined up talented singers and musicians that will entertain throughout the afternoon.
This amazing location also offers the opportunity to grill sausages on a campfire and participate in multiple sport activities including Beach Volleyball, Mini Football, Croquet, Darts and Pétanque. Kids will also enjoy the onsite playground. The venue is suitable for all types of weather as there are plenty of options for seating inside, under pergolas and even a bedouin tent.
How to get to the venue
We have organised a courtesy bus this year from the ceremony directly to the island party thanks to Deloitte Czech Republic. Please note that seats are limited and MUST be reserved in advance by emailing [email protected]. Simply list your name and the number of seats required.
To get to the venue by public transport from Andel (Nadrazni ulice) guests can take trams no 4, 5, 12 and 20 to Lihovar stop and walk approx. 12 minutes to the venue. Alternatively, guests can take Tram 7 to Výtoň and then catch the Výtoň – Císařská louka – Kotevní ferry to Císařská louka using a regular public transport ticket and walk approx. 10 minutes to the venue.
