Pike River Miners' Appeal

Here’s how you can give:

  1. An account has been set up at the Clydesdale Bank in London to enable UK residents to donate to the appeal. (As you may know, Clydesdale Bank is part of the NAB Group, which includes the BNZ.) The money deposited in the Clydesdale Bank Pike River Appeal Fund account will eventually be transferred to NZ with the best possible foreign exchange rate and minimal transfer fees, so that your donation will get to the miners’ families as efficiently as possible.

             The account details are:

Account Name: Pike River Appeal Fund

             Sort Code: 82 60 13

             Account Number: 10148495

Donations to the account can be made in the following ways:

  •  by transferring funds electronically using your own internet banking facility
  • by sending or dropping off a cheque made payable to 'Pike River Appeal Fund' to

Clydesdale Bank, Piccadilly Branch, 35 Regent Street, London SW1Y 4ND

(NB: Donations made through PayPal may have a small administrative fee deducted by PayPal.)

Many thanks to Clydesdale Bank for their quick response in setting up this account.

2.  Credit card donations can also be made to the appeal directly to New Zealand at

http://www.givealittle.co.nz/cause/pikeriver

. (NB: A small credit card commission will be deducted.)

Further details of the fund can be found at the official Pike River Miners Appeal website

Thank you for your support.
