Fantastic Opportunity for two young London-based Kiwis

The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association in Parliament in NZ is currently seeking applications from young New Zealanders aged 18 to 25 who might be interested in attending Commonwealth Day in London on March 14 to represent New Zealand.
Applicants should have an interest in the Commonwealth and in parliamentary affairs, and should display leadership qualities.
The day includes:
- discussions on the Commonwealth and specifically Commonwealth Parliamentary Association and its contribution to parliamentary democracy - UK parliamentarians will be present to help with these discussions;
- short debates or other presentations on current issues in the Commonwealth;
- attendance at the Observance at Westminster Abbey at which Her Majesty the Queen will be present as Head of the Commonwealth;
- attendance at the Commonwealth Secretary-General's evening reception in the presence of Her Majesty
The deadline for applications is 31 January.
