This groups mission is to create a network and communication channel for New Zealand’s creative population regardless of their geographical location and spread New Zealand’s talent and unique cultural blend around the world through network generated content and performance collaboration.

The Kea Creative Group is inclusive of all specialities in the sector including design, theatre, film music, journalism, writing etc. The group also works alongside other relevant associations, corporations and organisations to help promote New Zealand creative developments offshore.

Group objectives

• Targeted networking platform for specific sector
• Trade leads
• Connection to the UK for NZ connected individuals and companies within the industry
• Conduit for sector PR/information/acts coming from NZ
• Obtaining sources – members looking for products/talent or sources of supply from New Zealand
• Act as a sales, marketing and promotion channel for group members

• Individual Premium member of the network
• Actively involved in the sector
• Committed to actively support the group and feed in  information/leads/updates

Group structure
Lead by steering committee representing different disciplines and skill sets within sector.  Responsible for:

• Organising quarterly meetings of the network
• Passing on information and leads within the network
• Supplying creative industry information that can be communicated to the larger network
• Tapping in to individual networks to benefit the members of the group
• Establishing project group for creative events
• Potentially holding workshops for other group members
