You know you could be using the Internet more effectively, but you’re not sure where to start. Maybe you need a place to display your family photos. Maybe you're tossing up the pros and cons of Twitter. Maybe you need a website for a business you’re starting... or do you? With so many free web tools out there, a website is only of several possible options.

Using case studies and industry knowledge, the session will cover all the Web 2.0 tools you need to know about. Designed for those without technical backgrounds, it cuts through the noise to answer your questions thoroughly.

It runs through:

  • Overview of must-know Web 2.0 tools: from Spotify to Linkedin
  • Do you really need that website? Your options, and how to decide
  • Social media basics: Twitter vs. Facebook
  • Growing your business: email marketing vs. social media
