Kea IT&T Meeting with guest speaker Joshua Gilbertson

Kea IT&T Meeting sponsored by Telecom NZ with guest speaker Joshua Gilbertson.

Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday 30th March at the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise offices at New Zealand House.

We are delighted to announce our guest speaker for the evening will be Joshua Gilbertson, a successful New Zealand serial entrepreneur, based in London.

Joshua will discuss what it takes to be successful in creating and running businesses in the technology industry in the UK, including finding the right partners and team, raising funding and going-to-market.  He will also take us through his latest venture, Skyslides.

Skyslides provides an interactive collaborative software solution to deal with the challenges of people sharing, contributing and controlling PowerPoint presentations.

We designed this for people or teams of people concerned about putting together pitches and presentations that have tight deadlines with multi-people, multiple offices and find it difficult to keep track of things - "who's got the latest" - "who changed what?" - "has everyone else seen the latest version?" Or for those who have created/put together great presentations/slides but the actual click, click, click and static slide by slide delivery is just a bit boring and not "wowing" the client as they would like

The IT&T Group brings together Kea members working within the IT & Telecoms industries, providing an opportunity to network, share leads and updates with each other whilst also learning of developments in New Zealand and the UK.
