Share your experience at the World Business Capability Congress, 5-7 December, Auckland

Auckland will be home to the World Business Capability Congress, 5-7 December 2012. This Congress aims to make a real impact on helping New Zealand organisations raise their business capability through driving excellence, innovation, productivity and export growth. This will be achieved by holding a knowledge-packed event with over 100 presentations, 14 keynotes speeches, a ‘best practice’ competition, hosting of the New Zealand Business Excellence Awards - an exhibition for profiling products and services, and much more.

The invitation is now out for expatriate Kiwis and ‘friends of New Zealand’ to participate in this event either as speakers or delegates and forge new links with local and international businesses.

If you are interested at speaking at this event please respond to the Call for Papers by 30 May. Short presentations on success stories, challenges and best practice in these areas are sought: leadership, strategy, customer and market focus, measurement and knowledge management, process management, human resources and organisational capability building.

Presentations will be 10 or 30 minutes depending on the overview of the presentation submitted. Following on from these presentations, speakers and delegates can discuss, share experiences and network with each other in facilitated sessions.

The organisers are the Centre for Organisational Excellence Research, New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation and the New Zealand Organisation for Quality. The partners assisting in promoting the event are: Kea New Zealand, Asian Network for Quality, Asia Pacific Quality Organization, Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED),, Economic Development Agencies New Zealand (EDANZ), Global Benchmarking Network, Institute of Management Consultants New Zealand, Ministry of Economic Development (MED), Ministry of Science and Innovation, New Zealand Institute of Management, and the University of Auckland Business School. Platinum sponsors are ATEED and the MED.

Make sure you include this Congress in your diary and travel plans for 2012!
